Apex Farms NZ Limited was incorporated on 4 August 2024 as a New Zealand limited company to operate a dairy cattle farming business in the Waikato. It is wholly owned and directed by Glen Samuel Leslie, who brings a practical, hands-on approach to the day-to-day running of the farm.
Dairy farming in New Zealand is a demanding business. Milk prices move, weather doesn't cooperate, and the regulatory bar keeps rising — as it should. Our response is to keep the operation tight and well managed: know the numbers, keep the infrastructure in good order, and never let standards slip on the things that matter most, which are the cows and the country they graze.
We are a small business and we like it that way. It means decisions get made quickly, problems get dealt with on the day they appear, and the person responsible for the farm is the person walking it.

Glen Samuel Leslie is the sole director and shareholder of Apex Farms NZ Limited, appointed at incorporation on 4 August 2024 and holding 100 shares — the full ownership of the company.
That structure keeps accountability simple. There is one person responsible for how the farm runs, and that person is directly involved in it. Decisions about stock, feed, staff and infrastructure are made by someone who sees the consequences first-hand.
